The Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) megatrend is the real deal. It has massive revenues, massive profits, and a very long runway for continuing growth and profit. However, in recent weeks, top AI growth stocks have been volatile and sold off. Rather than running for the hills, the selloff is an opportunity. This report ranks and counts down my top 10 AI growth stocks that are currently on sale (trading at attractive valuations). The top 10 are divided into two groups: (1) The Buy-and-Holds—which are long-term (5-10 years) AI growth stocks on sale, and (2) The Buy-and-Take Profits—which are near- and mid-term (6-36 months) AI growth stocks on sale. Enjoy the ranking and countdown to my very top AI growth stock ideas.
The AI Megatrend
Before getting into the countdown, it’s worth considering massive market-changing megatrends of the past. For example, the internet megatrend, the industrial revolution, and even more recently the massive market shift from desktop computers to mobile devices and the cloud.
All of these past megatrends changed the investment marketplace forever. However, it’s important to realize that the leading companies at the start of each megatrend were not necessarily the winners over time.
For example, Motorola and Blackberry were once the leading mobile device companies—at the beginning of the mobile device megatrend. But now they are both just rounding errors compared to the massive success of the Apple (AAPL) iphone, for example.
Similarly, America Online and Yahoo! were leading internet companies near the turn of the century. But now they are largely irrelevant as compared to Alphabet (GOOGL)—a company that dominates the internet ecosystem from browser cookies, to YouTube videos and to Google Cloud services.
The point is that these massive megatrends didn’t die. It’s just that the leading companies at the start of the megatrend weren’t necessarily the ultimate winners. And even though many company went belly up when the “Internet Bubble” burst, the internet most certainly did NOT die.
To the contrary—the internet continues to thrive, and the companies that ultimately dominated the battle for internet supremacy—made a lot of people very rich.
Similarly, the AI megatrend offers truly enormous long-term wealth creation opportunities—if you, as an investor, are able to harness it.
AI Growth Stocks—on Sale
Despite the constant drumbeat of AI megatrend naysayers blindly proclaiming it will burst like the internet bubble, many AI companies continue to generate accelerating revenue growth, massive profits, and increasingly attractive valuations.
And select leading AI growth stock valuations have become even more attractive in recent weeks as uncertainty surrounding midterm elections and increasing interest rates has stoked fear and misdirected selling pressure.
Said differently, top AI growth stocks are on sale (a good thing!).
The rankings in this report are broken into two specific groups.
LT: Long-Term AI Growth Stocks on Sale (Buy-and-Hold)
MT: Mid-Term AI Growth Stocks On Sale (Buy-and-Take-Profits)
The difference between the two groups is the first has a clear, moat and megatrend-driven, runway for powerful growth for the next 5 to 10 years and longer.
The second group has even more dramatic growth potential in the short- and mid-term, thanks to their positioning to serve insatiable AI demand and buildout. However, they lack the powerful long-term moats of the first group—and they risk becoming displaced and/or unnecessary within 3-5 years as the current phase of insatiable AI buildout progresses.
Said differently, group 2 has higher volatility and explosive near-to-mid-term upside potential. Whereas the first group, doesn’t have the same level of explosiveness, but they are well positioned to significantly outperform the market over the next 5-10 years, and beyond.
Honorable Mentions:
Before getting into the top 10 rankings, you can see 10 honorable mentions in the following graphic. These top AI stocks are broken down into the two groups discussed previously (i.e. LT and MT, or long-term and mid-term). The graphic also includes a variety of other valuable data points and descriptions about the specific opportunities.
I won’t review all of the names in slots 11-20, but a few are worth briefly mentioning before we get into all the details on the top 10 best ideas.
SpaceX (SPCX) and Tesla (TSLA)
These are by far the two most speculative names on the list, but they are included to provide important perspective about how companies can be valued on future potential even well before they have brought that potential into reality.
Recognizing the difference (between reality and potential) is an important skill for investors (especially as they match it up against their own personal goal-focused) investment needs.
Valuing companies on future earnings potential is important, but balancing that against a company’s ability to deliver matters.
Tesla and SpaceX are included together because they have the same CEO, and that CEO is potentially incentivized to combine the two entities (at some point in the future) into one—in order to achieve certain enormous bonus compensation awards.
And both Tesla have a historical track record of being valued based on future “potential” a lot more so than many other companies.
For example, Tesla isn’t valued like other car companies (it’s valued on the potential of autonomous vehicles and robots) and SpaceX isn’t valued like other telecom companies (it’s valued on the potential of combining those technologies in synergistic ways to deliver future almost science-fiction-typed value to customers and investors.
Both SpaceX and Tesla are far to speculative to make it into the actual top 10 in this report (that’s why they’re just an honorable mention), but they do both rank well quantitatively as you can see in the earlier graphic, and because the CEO has a history of delivering on outrageous goals to earn massive bonus payouts and earnings for him self.
If you are a long-term (“LT”) AI growth investor, with a high tolerance for volatility and uncertainty, Tesla and SpaceX are worth considering.
Ondas (ONDS) and Kratos (KTOS)
Ondas (ONDS) announced a potentially significant government-spending opportunity on October 30, 2026. Specifically, the news concerns a $250 million FEMA counter-drone grant program expanding funding for state and local agencies to purchase drone-detection and counter-drone technology.
And Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (KTOS) already has a significant counter-drone government contract from July (i.e. Kratos announced an approximately $156 million U.S. Department of Energy contract for mobile counter-drone systems).
Worth mentioning however, drone stocks may be sensitive to political agendas, especially following the latest elections.
Top 10 AI Growth Stocks
(Ranking & Countdown)
Without further ado..
10. SK hynix (SKHY)
SK hynix only IPO’d in the US several months ago as it was benefiting from truly insatiable demand from the AI buildout. For example, as you can see in the earlier table, the company’s revenue is growing at over 200% this year, and expected to remain elevated into next year (over 50% of its 2027 and 2028 capacity is already booked).
As long as AI keeps growing the way it has been (and all signs suggest it will—such as massive Mag 7 capex and unrelenting datacenter buildout), demand for SK Hynix is very real.
What’s more, the shares have sold off recently, making for an even more attractive entry point (it’s P/E is only 10x, and its forward P/E is only 4x—truly attractive!).
9. Amazon (AMZN)
The leading AI cloud services provider, Amazon, is not getting the credit it is due. Trading at a P/E ratio of just under 20x with a powerful double-digit revenue growth rate, high cloud margins, and a strong competitive advantage (AWS) supported by a long-term megatrend (AI) Amazon is a particularly attractive investment for long-term investors. It’s a strong buy-and-hold (forever) stock.
8. Vistra (VST)
Datacenters need power, and Vistra is well positioned to provide it. It has electric utilities services available in multiple states, included datacenter ground zero—Washington DC.
Also importantly, Vistra is well positioned to deliver nuclear electricity—an increasingly unavoidable source considering increasing datacenter electricity demand and the relatively low cost of nuclear.
7. Meta (META)
The market is mad (and punishing Meta’s share price) because the company is spending enormously on capital expenditures to support datacenter demand and growth.
However what the market fails to recognize (because it is perennially too short sighted) is that all the spending is because Meta sees incredible growth opportunities ahead.
In a pattern we see frequently, Meta shares are down in the near-term (because the market is fearful) thereby providing a more attractive entry point for long-term investors.
The Top 6
The Top 6 AI Growth Stocks On Sale—is available to members only, and the full report can be accessed here. The top 6 includes a mix of long-term and mid-term opportunities, ranging from chip makers, to memory, datacenter components, and more. I currently own all of them.
The Bottom Line
The recent fear-driven selloff for AI stocks has created highly-attractive buying opportunities for long-term investors. Granted, everyone’s situation and goals are different, but if you are a long-term growth investor—the market is offering some exceptionally compelling investment opportunities right now.
Be smart. Do what is right for you.
